Entertainment for the evening

Since Tori decided that she wanted to go to bed at 6:00 last night, we were left to entertain ourselves. So Jeromy thought it was hilarious to put one of Gavin's pull ups on his head...And for anyone out there wondering we do still have Superstar. YES!

After school update

Tori said she had a good day but it was long! She had a hotdog and nuggets for lunch. She played out on the playground but it was REALLY hot. She made a couple of friends she thinks.We took her to the Dairy Queen for ice cream. And on the way home she fell asleep but we got her up when we got home. Says she's ready for tomorrow AND she has to wear tennis shoes tomorrow-she has gym and needs to be able to run fast.

First day of Kindergarden

Well...she,WE did great! We took her right into the school and she found a couple of her classmates and sat down with them. We waited until she walked to her classroom before we left and she said bye and was on her way!!Will post later on how the actual day went and what tomorrow brings. It will be the real test since Jeromy won't be there and I have to go to work plus take Tori to school and Gavin to the baby-sitters...

OFFICIAL

Well there is now no longer a count down, it's official, we met with Ms. King-Tori's teacher today. Things went well but Tori did say she was nervous. Gavin on the other hand loved the classroom! So I took Tori to my mom's for her 1st day of school hair cut & have her book bag ready. So up and at them early tomorrow for the first day of baby-sitting and then soccer practice. So hopefully she'll be nice and tired. Will post the BIG DAY--be ready!

Good cookin' at Grannies'

The kids and I went and ate at Grannies' today! Spaghetti for me!! Good stuff. Tori has to go to school tomorrow and meet her teacher! The day is coming much sooner than her daddy and I want it too. Gavin thought that Uncle Jason's sunglasses were cool.

Cook Out

We had a cook out tonight with Jeromy's family, the Kidders', Jason Elloitt, Tobey and Melissa, Luke Everline, and Jarred and Christina Jackson. We played corn hole and had a little tournament... WAY TO GO SAMMI AND SAVANNA! The "young'uns" took down some adults. Then of course the men had to play Play Station 3, college football...

1st soccer practice of the year!

Tori had her 1st soocer practice tonight. She did awesome! Gavin also got to play with them too. He loved it. We also went and met with the new baby sitter,Teresa Hyre. Gavin had a good time playing with all the toys and the other kids there. So hopefully it will be a good thing for him. Tori is going with him on Tuesday for the first day. Then Wednesday will be the big day for her...

WE ARE BACK!

Well we finally made it back to West Virginia! Can I just say that the drive through WV is the worst!! Anyway, Panama City was AWESOME!!!!!!!!! The kids were great. Gavin traveled well! The weather was no less than 93ish everyday! The ocean and pool were like bath water. Everyday the ocean was different- thick algae, smooth & calm clear blue, rough from the hurricane,and a sand bar one day. The house was amazing. The only thing bad was the dinner that we had on Tuesday night--DO NOT EAT AT BISHOP'S BUFFET! I will post pictures in the next few days. Tori starts soccer practice tomorrow! So her "10" days left of summer are about to be over.

Finishing packing and getting ready for our vacation to FL. I had my last softball game this evening--we won both of them! Glad that the season is over but wished I could play in the tournaments but FL will be much better!!!

A Working Woman!

It's amazing where the time goes once you become a working mom again?...! My days seem to fly by even faster now that I'm working. Spending time with the kids and Jeromy before its time for Jeromy to go to work, getting things ready for the next day, you know the routine. Hopefully once Tori starts school and soccer that I'll be working Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday's. As for anything going on right now---just preparing for our vacation to Panama City, FL! Can't wait. Will have lots of pictures of Gavin's first beach experience!

RAIN, RAIN, RAIN

We went to Grannie's and had spaghetti!! It rained ALL day long! So the kids played in the rain and my softball game was cancelled. So what a boring day. Gavin is 20 months old today.

Congrads Willie & Brittany Thomas!

Jeromy and I went to a wedding today for Willie(Jeromy's work friend) and Britt. Very nice wedding, that was outside! Tori went with Pap and Grandma(my mom) in the Barney truck to an antique car show. Gavin went to Bubba and Bap's(Jeromy's mom and dad) while we enjoyed the wedding.

Lazy Friday Night

We had a lazy relaxing Friday evening. We went to pick Tori up at my brother's house and then stopped at the Dairy Queen to have dinner. The rest of the evening consisted of riding the big couch.

Finally a hot day!

Today finally was HOT!! And of course we had a game...we lost them both...too hot.(good excuse) Gavin, Tori and I washed the car and did a little bit of work around the house today,enjoying the sun! Jeromy was mandated for work(had to work a double)so we saw him on a pass through while we were heading out for my game.

The count down is on....

August is here and that only means that Tori will be going to school very soon! She will start on the 29th. We (ok SHE) has the days counted down on the calendar. Gavin has been doing very good with the potty training thing except for the #2, he acts like he's afraid of what it might be??But not doing to bad to be starting at 19 months.
